Plasma Exchange Improves Cognitive Function in Long-COVID-Related Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome and Autoimmune Neurological Dysfunction

Published:February 21, 2023DOI:https://doi.org/10.1016/j.amjmed.2023.01.043
Recently, it has been recognized that the symptoms suffered by those with long-COVID may be due to autonomic dysfunction or postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS). Previous works have identified the potential utility of plasma exchange for POTS and other neurological conditions with associated antecedent viral onset.
