      Over this past year of disease and dis-ease we are lucky that museums, artists, musical groups, theaters, and gardens have moved their treasures online, helping us navigate these uncharted waters with culture and beauty in all its iterations. We were also fortunate that the deadly pandemic arrived in springtime with its endless reminders of life. In a counterpoint to dark days and dark news this season offered increasing daylight, returning birds, and unfolding flowers. One spring day last June, my usual bicycle ride turned into a surprise visit to a tiny art show.
