This patient with hemochromatosis presented clinical findings suggestive of constrictive pericarditis together with right ventricular and right atrial pressure contours typical of restriction of diastolic filling of the heart. Hemochromatosis must be added to the list of cardiac disorders (constrictive pericarditis, amyloidosis, endocardial fibroelastosis and myocardial fibrosis) which may produce the clinical and cardiac catheterization findings typical of “restrictive cardiopathy.”
