So-called primary ulcerohypertrophic ileocecal tuberculosis

      Abstract

      A brief review of the symptomatology, roentgen features, histopathology and therapy of hypertrophic ileocecal tuberculosis is presented.
      A case of ulcerohypertrophic ileocecal tuberculosis, in the absence of active pulmonary disease is reported. An excellent result followed surgical resection and subsequent antitubercular therapy.
